When You Loved Me, I Was Already Gone - Episode 5

To save her lover Frank's life, Lumi lied—pretending to be a gold digger who wanted nothing to do with a poor man—and cruelly drove him away. Consumed by hatred, Frank rose to become the godfather of the Chicago Mafia and trapped Lumi in a marriage built for revenge. For three years, he froze her assets, let Daisy humiliate her however she pleased, and forced her to atone for a “betrayal” she never committed. No one knew Lumi was terminally ill—until she collapsed in public, coughing up blood. Only then did the truth she had buried for ten years come to light. Frank now gives everything to win her back. But can a love that comes this late still be called love?
